I’ve discovered in my coaching career that there two main reasons why people don’t manifest what they want is. There are others but these seem to be the most common.
Here are the two reasons:
- They don’t believe they will achieve it.
- They are attached to the outcome.
How about you? Do you believe you can have what you desire? And if so, are you ATTACHED to the end results.
Let’s use weight loss for example.
Let’s say you want to lose 20 or 30 lbs. You realize that dropping the extra weight will be better for your health and you will experience lots more energy.
Rate the desire for being healthier on a scale from 0-10, 10 being the strongest, 0 being the weakest.
Most people will rate a 10.
The next thing is to examine your belief. Do you BELIEVE that it is possible to be in optimal health and achieve your ideal weight? Now rate that on a scale of 0-10.
Let’s pretend your desire is 10 and your belief is 5.
This energy gap will keep you from achieving that ideal weight and optimal health.
The second reason why you are not manifesting that ideal weight and optimal health is that you are emotionally attached to it.
When you “need” the weight loss or “want” the weight loss and fearful that you may lose it only to regain it, this fear interferes with the flow of the success of long term health and/or weight loss goals.
Here is a method to help you let go of the fear. Imagine yourself not reaching your ideal weight. It just doesn’t happen. How do you feel? Ask yourself, what is the worst thing that could happen if I don’t reach my ideal body weight?
By asking this question, and being honest with yourself, you realize that there is nothing to be afraid of. You balance the energy by allowing yourself to imagine and feel the fear. This diffuses it and allows you to stay in a neutral place, which allows you to make better choices that lead towards a healthier you.
As you practice this method, make sure you are having fun. If you get stressed with the steps, this causes interference. Keep it light and free.
Once we realize that we really don’t “need” anything, we let go and that is when the miracles happen.
